2010 YEAR-END AWARDS

The All Florida Reined Cow Horse Association Year-End Awards will be based on a POINT SYSTEM. Points will be calculated from January 1-November 15.

· Champion and Reserve Champion for each class (except Stockhorse Classes) will receive awards at year-end.

· Green Horse/Green Riders will receive buckles upon accrual of required points.(see Green Guidelines)

· Awards are not given for Stockhorse classes.

Eligibility for Year-End Awards:

· Both owner and rider must be current members of the AFRCHA. Membership begins upon receipt of payment. Memberships may be paid to the Show Secretary or to the AFRCHA Treasurer.

· Must ride in class at least 60% of the AFRCHA Approved Jackpots and Sanctioned Shows.

NOTE: Each full slate of classes counts as a show.

For Example: Derby/Bridle Spectacular Shows, though over three (3) days is considered two (2) shows. Most other show weekends count as two (2) shows regardless of whether the shows are Jackpots or NRCHA Sanctioned Shows

Accrual of Points:

· Points will accrue for horse and rider in all Non-Pro and Youth classes.

· Points will accrue for horse in Open Classes.

· Points will accrue from each AFRCHA Approved Jackpot and AFRCHA/NRCHA Sanctioned Shows.( All shows are sanctioned NRCHA points)

Calculation of Points:

· One point will be given for each horse in the class.

· No points will be given to entrants with a zero total score.
