Membership Renewal

If you haven’t renewed your 2008 membership yet, now is the time.  Go to http://www.frcha.com/08memberapp.htm for the application.

Year End High Point Awards

There will not be a “saddle series” this year as we have had the past two years.  However, High Point Awards for the year will be saddles for class champions with additional prizes for reserve through 5th.  Year end awards will be given in the following classes:

Open Bridle

Non-Pro Bridle

Novice Non-Pro Bridle

Non-Pro Limited (under $5k)

Youth Bridle

Youth Limited

Open Hackamore

Non-Pro Hackamore

Green High Point Cow Score

There will also be a saddle awarded for the year end high cow score for green riders and an award for the reserve high cow score for green riders.  ONLY green riders will be eligible for this award.  If a green rider shows “out” of green they are eliminated from the green high cow score competition.  For example, if a green rider also shows in the Non-Pro Limited class, they will be withdrawn from point standings for the year end high cow score competition.

Recruiting Green Riders

FRCHA wants the Green program to grow in 2008.  We are asking all members to talk with friends, neighbors, and family.  Let them know how much fun riding a cow horse is and bring them to a show with you.  The March Clinic might be a good place for them to start.

Sponsors

FRCHA is still in need of sponsors.  If you (or someone you know) would like to sponsor a saddle or other year end award please contact Robin Fay at robin@frcha.com.
